Sport Retriever

I have soldered on a hand carved and hand cast retriever, then applied mineral acid that reacts with the metal to blacken it. After sanding color off of the high points, the buckle is tumbled in stainless steel shot and soap. Washed, dried, hand rubbed, then lacquered.

Each buckle is made with recycled USA metals, hand cast and tooled, signed and hallmarked by me, 2.25 inches diameter, inscribed on the back.

This buckle is partnered with a full grain buffalo leather belt. Buffalo is thicker, softer, more flexible, stronger, and resists abrasion better than cow leather. Read more about your 1.5 inch wide buffalo leather belt here.
