And really, it is an honor to be recognized by the publishers whose focus is on our business community. We have thriving business in this part of Florida, without being overdeveloped and crowded.
Our area code is 850, and that includes where I live on the Forgotten Coast. Our county is 85% wildlife refuge, national forest, state forest, estuarine preserve, and Apalachicola River Wildlife and Wilderness Preserve. Plus, there are several buffer zones and many conservation easements.
